Janset is a UK-born MC and rapper celebrated for her dynamic lyricism and genre-blending style. Drawing on influences from grime, alternative hip-hop, trap, and jazz, she combines thought-provoking lyrics with powerful flows that defy categorization.
Raised in North London by Turkish-Circassian parents, Janset incorporates both English and Turkish in her work, earning her recognition for her bilingual approach. Her career began as one-half of Stinkahbell, a duo instrumental in shaping the UK’s early dubstep scene (2009–2013).
Janset curated her own club night, JANSET & FRIENDS, and performed internationally with artists such as Balkan Beat Box, P Money, and Aga B. She has also collaborated with the Grime Orchestra at Maida Vale Studios and collaborated with Red Bull Records on her 2021 single “Oh Yes!”
Currently, Janset is breaking new ground as the first UK artist signed to Epidemic Sound, continuing to expand her global reach.
