Following on from his debut solo album Hemisphere released in April 2020, Melbourne , Australian based singer / songwriter Jase Old is set to release his new track One By One on the 17th of September.
In One By One, Jase delivers a song of optimism, positivity and unity, “One By One, stand together all of us, can march as one”. As the title track of his forthcoming solo album, it’s a thread that continues through the album, along with pain, love and loss.
Just as with Hemisphere, One By One gives Jase the opportunity to even further define himself as a solo artist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. Sure, there’s some familiar elements for those who know him as frontman for melodic-rockers The Radio Sun and the more AOR leaning StarChase. But being able to fully tap into his wide-ranging musical influences is what Jase has been relishing most on this journey as a solo artist.
"The vision for this second album was to not be genre-specific and to give myself the freedom to explore different musical textures and whatever else inspires me as I’m writing. I just have an honest love of music and writing”.
