Jason DeRush began really making music and recording sounds in the 90s on his family computer - Windows 95 on a Pentium 100, 8 Megabytes of ram and a 1 Megabyte SVA graphics card. This PC had some midi maker software on it, and he just spend time making Final Fantasy midis. Those exist on the internet still. His old friend Travis and him would make weird vomit sounds into the microphone and add reverb and reverse it thinking they were cool shit. Jason got a Yamaha Keyboard in 1999 and started making more music and in the 2000's moved over to making music on MTV Music Generator on both PS1 and PC. The whole first Jason DeRush album was made from silly loops from that software. After being challenged by his friends he made every loop himself for his debut album - 20,000 WORDS (under <a href="spotify:artist:1YQFyYndWs8VxkQ1WfmJRP" data-name="Radical Aenima">Radical Aenima</a>). Moving into becoming a dad and dealing with life, it took years to release ATM after what was 4 years of work on that album. (<a href="spotify:album:3vSHJEDzh0XZtzvHgaAGzc" data-name="ATM">ATM</a> was released internationally this year!) After a 12 year hiatus from music, he is now following the path less travelled and is putting his craft into the spotlight - good and bad. Thank you for being here on this journey and supporting through listening and providing feedback.
