Jason Link’s roots run back to his family’s tobacco farm in Vriginia. Raised up playing with all of the Link Family in his Papa’s Dance Hall and Bluegrass Radio Station he got his musical talents honest and true. And his nickname that his Papa gave him at the age of 5, “ScootScoot”! He is a throwback of unique artists such as Willie Nelson and Hank Sr. but with a twist. His lifelong love for ol’ school wrestling. Jason Link live is a collective force of energy and spirit that one minute makes you think you are watching a Ric Flair promo then in the next instant moves on to a song made up from the top of his head that leads into lighting pickin’ on his Papa’s Gibson Guitar that he calls Slingshot. Link is a songwriter tellin’ stories of the folks he has met along the way while being a force on the guitar and what he calls the “Linkstyle” on banjo.
