Jay Choudhury

Jay Choudhury is an singer hailing from a family with industrial background, Jay has always been inclined towards music. Music for him is an eternal source of joy and energy. He started learning music at the tender age of 5 music and singing finally became an internal part of him. Be it School Concerts like Bosco Raaga & Bosco Utsav or College Competitions, he has always made it to the top. He also headed the Sherwood College School Choir as the choir captain, from where he completed his schooling.

Jay has also learnt Rabindra Sangeet and has been blessed with the guidance of Pt. A. T. Kanan and has been formally educated under Pt. Debkumar Banerjee. His continuous devotion towards music has got better with time. Jay specialises in the Rampur Seheswan Gharana of Indian Classical Music, which is same as that of Sonu Nigam, whom he Idolises. He is proud to have got trained under his Idol, Sonu Nigam for Seven Years. Jay’s versatile form of singing includes Pop, Classical, Devotional, Ghazals, Folk and Playback Singing. Jay has rendered soulful songs for Bengali films, Commercials and recently rendered mellifluous cover version of two beautiful songs from gold era of Bollywood music, released from Saregama namely "Aap ki Nazron Ne" and "Chingari Koi" .
