Jay is a forest dweller in the backwoods of Minnesota. Being a big fan of originality, uniqueness, and experimentation, he and his band Endling strive to brew interesting music and prosaic lyrics. Our music is experimental pop rock incorporating many genres. Psychedelic nuances pop up frequently.
Musical influences include Pink Floyd, The Doors, Volbeat, Ghost, Americana, and 80s Pop & Metal. Lyrical influences include Syd Barrett, Jim Morrison, Charles Bukowski, and Arthur Rimbaud.
Jay's band, Endling, includes Ron Edelbrock (Guitars, Vocals, Production), Steve Sweeney (Lead Guitar), Riley Broding (Rhythm Guitar), Dan Heilman (Guitars and Bass Guitar) and Jay Grove (Vocals, Lyrics, Melody, Acoustic Guitar and Keyboard). They have released With Shining Eyes, In Twilight, Basement, Blue Smoke, Crazy Street, Meeting Ground, Homemade Demons, and Scavenger and will be dropping many more tunes in the near future.
