Jamie Cope aka Jaydan was born and raised in the UK city of Leicester. As a youngster he discovered drum & bass through his older brother and instantly felt a strong connection.
In 2003 he attended his first major event at the legendary Sanctuary in Milton Keynes and instantly fell in love with the music and culture. Seeing DJs like LTJ Bukem, Grooverider and Fabio playing on the big stages only made his dream of becoming a dj even stronger. From that point on he focussed on his goal and after learning to DJ he moved onto music production. By the end of 2004 he had secured his first release "Awakened" On Reformed Recordings the sister label of Formation Records which received support from several top Djs.
Fast forward to the present and over a stellar 20 year career with releases and features on Playaz, Ganja, Innerground, Low down deep, Serial Killaz and hospital to name just a few
he is still as in love with the genre as ever and is now proud to be working with Spy's Darkmtter records alongside a host of other well respected labels as he continues to evolve his sound.
