A talented percussionist whose style blends Latin and smooth jazz with gospel influences, Jeff Webb Jr. was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 14. Jeff was introduced to percussions in 1976, but started to hone his craft in 1996, influenced by legendary percussionists Giovanni Hidalgo and Poncho Sanchez. While playing for his local church, the International Gospel Center, and under the tutelage of his childhood friend Tim Bowman, he enhanced his skills and talents. Some notable achievements include playing on Tim’s 2004 album, “This Is What I Hear”, and playing in multiple smooth jazz festivals all over the Midwest Region. He has shared the stage with notable musicians such as Tim Bowman, Randy Scott, Ron Otis, and Demetrius Nabors to name a few. He continues to play for Tim Bowman.
