Jeilani is a Houston-born R&B artist whose music blends raw emotion with soulful storytelling. Raised in the choir at Allen Temple Baptist Church, he honed his vocal talent early on before stepping into the world of songwriting and production. Inspired by legends like Usher, Jeilani crafts deeply personal records, writing all his own lyrics and producing much of his music himself.

With two albums—Beloved and Starting Over—already showcasing his heartfelt artistry, Jeilani unveiled his most vulnerable work yet with Absence of Affection, dropped on February 14th. His sound is a fusion of classic R&B soul and modern-day vulnerability, making him a voice to watch in today’s music scene.
