Jenna Rae

I am currently living in the tiny country town of Stull, Kansas. I am a registered nurse by day and an Americana songwriter by night! My newest album &#34;Country Lo-Fi&#34; focuses mainly on my lyrics and melodies. I think it pairs best with a country drive in the spring with fresh buds! I have a unique vocal tone most often compared to <a href="spotify:artist:3NPZs8XgXtaWslUcnIw6rY" data-name="Iris DeMent">Iris DeMent</a>! For several years I thought I was best at singing back-up vocals. The first time I sang where people liked my voice was at Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival in Winfield, Kansas. I realized my voice blended well with bluegrass music and at times I&#39;ve even been told my voice has &#34;punk rock&#34; vibes! Maybe I&#39;ll make a cowpunk album someday :)My fiance and I play as <a href="spotify:artist:1nALsYd1KPPnGvUgV86fj8" data-name="Jenna &amp; Martin">Jenna &amp; Martin</a> and we call ourselves a &#34;Cosmic Western Duo&#34;! We met playing bluegrass music and started covering <a href="spotify:artist:1KA3WXYMPLxomNuoE22LYd" data-name="Gram Parsons">Gram Parsons</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5s6TJEuHTr9GR894wc6VfP" data-name="Emmylou Harris">Emmylou Harris</a> duets before recording our first album <a href="spotify:album:3A39E5TXeFtqNnupRPWbnL" data-name="Cosmic Western Duets">Cosmic Western Duets</a>! I also play with a five-piece bluegrass band <a href="spotify:artist:65JhAXKgtZqHcwY5ylrT2v" data-name="Unfit Wives">Unfit Wives</a> and co-produced our album <a href="spotify:album:0LMB6QbYzx6rYk1onzvBzd" data-name="Live &amp; Unfit">Live &amp; Unfit</a>! All of our music is recorded in our studio &#34;Lost Cowgirl Records&#34; and produced by <a href="spotify:artist:3K6k0wOqzL9mvlYp87n2Yw" data-name="Martin Farrell Jr.">Martin Farrell Jr.</a>!You might see my standard poodle, Roy Rogers at shows hanging on stage with us! I love dogs, cats, van camping, country fashion, genuine conversation and hanging with my family and friends. I grew up singing in the church and you might notice spiritual messages behind my music.
