Known to never shy away from a difficult subject nor genre, Swedish artist and producer Jenny Wilson has formed a career covering one controversial theme after another, all the while re-inventing her musical style. From indie pop stardom as a singer/guitarist in FIRST FLOOR POWER, through solo albums dealing with childhood trauma, motherhood, cancer and sexual assault, to making ”erotic horror ambient” with her partner in the duo DRIFTEN, Wilson has gained a reputation as the queen of the fearless. In 2023 Wilson was inducted to the Swedish Music Hall of Fame for her contribution to the music scene. In 2024 Jenny Wilson signed to the Swedish independent audiovisual label To whom it may concern. and played her first US tour which opened a new chapter with the release of her new EP ‘FANTASY FINALLY FOREVER’ (feb 28 2025). In March 2025 Wilson’s first opera ‘ÄLSKARINNORNA’ premieres on Norrlandsoperan.
