Jeremy Dallas: East Coast Roots - Alberta Boots
Small-town grit meets honky-tonk truth
Raised on Prince Edward Island with George Jones on the radio and Waylon Jennings on the 8-track, Jeremy Dallas got his start at age 11 playing bass in his father’s band at halls and legions. That stage never left him – even when rebellion took him behind a drum kit for a PEI metal band in the early 2000s.
After moving to Alberta in 2007, he returned to his country roots, touring as a bassist for regional acts until 2013 when he bet on himself. That first solo booking? A half-empty bar. But by year two, 9 shows became 90, launching a decade-long climb from dive bars to career-defining stages:
- St. Albert Rainmaker Rodeo (headlining with Brett Kissel)
- PBR Gold Buckle Ceremony
- Calgary Stampede at Ranchmans Dancehall
- Opening slots for, Sammy Kershaw & Aaron Tippin
His music – "Luke Combs' intensity meets Alan Jackson's storytelling :
✓ "Honky Tonk World" (Billboard Canada #49)
✓ "Ten Minutes Ago"(170K+ views) (SiriusXM #1)
✓ "It Does!" (SiriusXM Emerging Artist feature)
Beyond the Stage:
- Founded the Jeremy Dallas Foundation(Ankylosing Spondylitis advocacy + school instruments)
- Raised $7,500 for Make-A-Wish
- Built Bullseye Entertainment & The Country Connection label to uplift working-class artists
"I’ve been the kid on bass, the metal rebel, and the opener praying for applause. Now I sing for every ‘longshot’ chasing that first chord."
