Jerome David, Jr., a Nashville-based indie/folk artist, crafts a stirring sound blending "old Nashville" storytelling with classical violin mastery. Raised on the banks of the Mississippi River, Jerome began playing violin at five, inspired by Vivaldi, Bach, and Paganini. Today,
influences like Sting, John Mayer, and Cody Fry shape his cinematic, introspective lyricism.
His debut single, Rendezvous (2021), showcased his finesse, followed by Evergreen (2022) and his first music video Wide Open (2022). He went on to mark the 50th anniversary of John Denver's Annie's Song in 2024 with a reimagined cover. His 2025 EP, Live: Upstairs, recorded in his apartment's hallway, captures his raw artistry. As a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter, and producer, Jerome explores topics of home, freedom, humanity, and love,
weaving lush string arrangements with timeless melodies.
From Carnegie Hall and the Grand Ole Opry to the streets of Franklin, Tennessee, Jerome's performances turn listeners into participants. His music, bridging classical sophistication and folk's warmth, offers an immersive journey evoking nostalgia and inspiring
innovation. Jerome continues crafting soundtracks for life's ups and downs
