Jessame, a proud Los Angeles native, discovered his passions for skateboarding and music at an early age. Honing his skills as a drummer in a youth worship band, Jessame’s journey into songwriting and production was inevitable. Drawing inspiration from the Berry family’s rich musical heritage, Jessame’s relatives have been a significant influence on his music career.
Jessame made waves with the release of his debut single “Lights,” marking his ascent in the music scene. Subsequent singles showcased his versatility and talent, earning him recognition and radio airplay. Jessame has collaborated with esteemed artists including Dr. Dre, Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest, Jeremih, Lost Kings, and more. He inked his first major label deal with Marauders Organization, a JV between Q-Tip and Republic Records, and is crafting his debut album for independent release in 2024.
