Jonathan “Jet 2” Ihejeto is a hip-hop artist and drummer for Los Angeles Punk band, Crisis Actor. Born in Los Angeles, CA to Nigerian and Ghanian parents whom migrated to America on tour with artist Sunny Okosun in the 80’s, Jet 2 discovered his passion for music around 5 years old when he witnessed his parents preparing to perform a show at the infamous House of Blues on Sunset in Hollywood, but was taken to the babysitter. Jet 2 seen that moment as a challenge to one day become his father’s drummer.

Jet 2 was introduced to hip-hop around 9 years old when he was taught poetry and observed Jay-Z’s adroit use of poetry, wordplay, and flow on, “Vol. 2… Hard Knock Life,” and decided not only did rapping inspire him, but he could use it as a tool to inspire others. By 17, Jet 2 began following in Lil Wayne’s footsteps by releasing a plethora of mixtapes to DatPiff, freestyling and exercising creative and unique concepts over instrumentals that were prominent in the industry; circa 2008, in which since, he has released 11 mixtapes independently.

Working with Los Angeles hip-hop artist and producer; M.Gold, and Mete; formally known as illRhythmic, and delving into rapping over Deep House and Minimal Tech tracks with Tasty Treats, Game Theory, and Goodiebags, Jet 2 continues to keep his sound fresh and flows enticing for the listener; exercising elite wordplay and vocal inflections that impel listeners to repeat.
