Jillian Ludwig’s love of music was evident at a very young age. While starting with vocal instruction, Jill learned to play various instruments including saxophone, oboe, piano, guitar and bass. Beginning at Lakehouse Music Academy in two bands, Arcadia and Good Morning Beautiful, as a singer, guitar and bass player, Jill also performed solo at venues around the Jersey Shore and also played with Kevian Kraemer on bass. She was also very involved in her school bands and with music ministries at church. At age 17, she started her own project called “Playing it Forward” where she would perform and raise funds to donate back to those in need within the musical community she loved. Jillian became a music teacher herself at Lakehouse, and upon high school graduation, she went on to study Music Business at Belmont University in Nashville. She had dreams of having a career in the music industry, as a recording artist and producer. Jill had begun to write and play her own music at the time of her tragic passing, including this song “How Long” which is now treasured as one of her last creative works.
