Composer/Piano player Jim Pearce's music (Neo Classical and Jazz) has been streamed on Spotify more than 2 Million times and has been heard on over 850 TV shows including Empire, Parenthood, Saturday Night Live, The Voice, Succession, Inside Amy Schumer, 90210, Blue Bloods, Legacies, The Affair, and the film The Big Wedding (Lionsgate), to name just a few. Jim has won many awards for his compositions including a Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest . “I'm in the Twilight of a Mediocre Career” hit #1 on the JazzWeek Radio Chart. He also composed music for 2 Audio Books by Deborah Wiles for Scholastic Publishing. Jim has written 600+ tunes and continues to write and play piano non stop.
A Personal note from Jim---
50 years ago I dropped out of college to play trombone in an amusement park. Never looked back and continue to be a working musician till this day and onward. Trombone gigs were hard to get and starvation was a drag, so I switched over to piano, which I had played from 4th grade. I figured out how to make a steady living playing every kind of gig known to humankind , mostly low paying obscure gigs, lots of them. One year I played 478 gigs. I also knew I wanted to compose music so along the way I have written and recorded music whenever I could. I hope you can find some music here that you can really love. As a composer I feel that music is not complete until someone hears and connects too it. I hope to connect to you with these tunes !
