Joe Harvey-Whyte is one of the most innovative and exciting pedal steel players around. Aside from his work as a session musician Joe is also a multidisciplinary artist working at the cross section between ambient/experimental music, visual art and environmental sound. His solo work combines the sound of the pedal steel guitar with electronics and field recordings to make works that create a space for deep listening &amp; reflection.

A new duo from ambient pedal steel explorer Joe Harvey-Whyte and psych-country guitarist <a href="spotify:artist:5OXjftFsY79TKTKbvFYxt1" data-name="Bobby Lee">Bobby Lee</a>, taking in Paris, Texas-esque dusty instrumentals, west coast canyon-rock, brit-folk pastoralism, kosmische choogle and new-age mellowness. Their debut record <a href="spotify:album:3SqhL2BHd0WsbnMunFihKS" data-name="Last Ride">Last Ride</a> is out now.

A new project with Norwegian experimental musician and pedal steel player <a href="spotify:artist:7mVOcdjvBq2ivxf3nOvWiC" data-name="Geir Sundstøl">Geir Sundstøl</a> is due in January 2026.
