Joee Corso's roots are deeply embedded in the intimate and heartfelt music traditions of Americana, roots, blues, and country. Growing up in New Haven, CT, he was captivated by his grandfather's band playing old Italian songs and his father's renditions of classics by Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Bob Seger, and the Eagles. These early influences, along with his love for artists like Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, The Doors, Santana, Elton John, and Billy Joel, have shaped his distinctive sound.

Joee’s journey in music has spanned over three decades, filled with the ups and downs of a musician’s life in Los Angeles. He has performed in various bands, most notably Abbey Booth and Grand Daddy Purple, gaining a loyal following and unique experiences such as selling out and having long-standing residencies at iconic venues like The Viper Room and The Troubadour.

Joee’s soulful voice, poetic lyrics, and masterful guitar work reflect an artist who has lived through and endured many of life's experiences. His collaborations with industry legends, including two-time Grammy-winning producer Paul Brown, have been pivotal in his career, allowing him to create music that genuinely captures his artistic essence.

In addition to his journey so far, Joee is embarking on a new adventure into kids' music under the band name Ships Ahoy. This new direction showcases his versatility and commitment to bringing joy and inspiration through music to audiences of all ages.
