Joel Tangunan or JoeGee is a severe polio victim since he was one year and nine months old. A PWD singer/songwriter born in Tondo, Manila on January 7, 1976. He started writing songs when he was 15 years old.

Joel Tangunan discovered his singing voice by himself at the very young age of 7 years old and started singing the songs of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, Tom Jones, The Beatles, and many other old songs. He used to get invited to sing and to give inspirational talks in any events, like schools, corporates, and any other special occasions and personal events of other people he knows, like weddings, birthdays, and many more.
