Joggo, born Jürgen Orvile Seedorf on October 29, 1980, in Amsterdam, has been making waves in reggae since 2008. With hits like *Beware*, *Peace and Love*, and *Roots Ites*, he has earned international recognition for his powerful voice, conscious lyrics, and authentic sound.
Deeply inspired by reggae’s greatest legends—Bob Marley, Burning Spear, Dennis Brown, Beres Hammond, and Gregory Isaacs—Joggo is also inspired by the next generation, including Capleton, Buju Banton, Sizzla, and Stephen Marley. This fusion of classic and modern influences makes him *The Modern Rocker*—rooted in the foundation yet evolving the sound for today’s world.
Joggo has graced major festivals like Reggaejam, Summerjam, Reggae Sundance, Reggaelake and Zwarte Cross, solidifying his role as a reggae ambassador from the Netherlands. Through his own label, Joggo Music Productions (JMP), he continues to craft heavyweight riddims and push reggae forward with passion and purpose.
