Johannes Mössinger is one of the most creative jazz musicians in Germany and was recently successfull with his CDs "Call It Even" and "New BY Two", duo recordings together with New York saxophonist Joel Frahm. 2018 he released a CD with his interpretation of J.S. Bach’s Inventions and showed is extraordenary talent and personal way of playing piano music. He developed a fascinating one way of deeling with the piano and is an outstanding composer. Johannes Moessinger has recorded and performed on the jazz scene since 1996. The beginning of his career was marked through his solo album „Spring in Versailles“ from 1998 and his CD Monk’s Corner from 2001 together with his New York Ensemble and Joe Lovano.
Since then the artist Johannes Moessinger is working with his various projects and as composer. He collaborated with many international jazz musicians such as: Joel Frahm, Adam Nussbaum, Bob Malach, Joe Lovano, Enrico Rava, Karl Latham, Calvin Jones, Don Braden, John Lee, Seamus Blake, Boris Kozlov, Johannes Enders, Thomas Lähns, Martin Gjakonovski, Tony Lakatos. He was touring all over Europe, in North Amerika, Russia and the Near East. He created many jazz compositions, a string quartet, music for film and 25 CD productions as a Leader.
