John Cathal O'Brien

John Cathal O’Brien is a singer-songwriter from Dublin, Ireland. After travelling and living in various parts of the world John has settled, for now at least, in New York. Since then, as before, he has released numerous albums, eps and singles as a solo artist, and since coming to NY, with composer Jean Marc Yee as 'Yee and O’Brien’.
He has been compared to many of his influences including Nick Drake, Leonard Cohen and Bert Jansch while critics also note his has own distinctive voice both vocally and in his songwriting.
