John Early is an author, yogi, singer-songwriter and co-founder of Momentom Collective and Founder/ Operator of ViYarte retreat center in Playa Marsella, Nicaragua. His world travels, however, like his writing and projects in life, always define new territory.
John's formal education consists of a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Management at the University of Saskatchewan and ESC Rouen, France. Since then, it has been John’s 15+ years of globe trotting through which he has found his real education and reason to smile in life.
His award-winning book, Tales of the Modern Nomad – Monks, Mushrooms & Other Misadventures delves into his decade of global backpacking over 30 countries through an eclectic layout of stories, photography, poetry and sidebar sketches. It captures all the travel insight you won’t get in a guidebook - including getting lost in cultural taboos and journeys with psychedelic plant medicines.
John’s current mission is connecting inspirational communities and human experiences through ViYarte Boutique Hotel & Retreat Center. It is a beachside villa to both relax and expand for entrepreneurs of the heart and creatives of all ages. The collective intention is that together we can reshape the world through the gift of nature, art and community!
