Falling in love at 7 years old is peculiar, but that’s exactly what this Massachusetts born/New York residing singer/songwriter did. From the moment John discovered he could sing at the young age of 7, he has not stopped. Beginning to write songs at the age of 12 and share them with his friends at school to then leaving home at 17 to fully pursue his dream.
After some time of putting out music and playing shows (including opening for several major artists and winning an emerging artists competition held by the GRAMMYS)
Fast forward to 2015, John signed to EPIC Records as one half of the group Lipstick Gypsy. Over the years the group was together, they garnered some success through their music with a Today Show appearance, Billboard magazine feature, and a national commercial with Hyundai. They’ve accumulated over 3 million streams on their songs. Lipstick Gypsy disbanded in 2019, deciding to pursue other ventures.
Present time, John has released several singles as a solo act including “Happy” which has garnered over 300,000 streams.
With a hair raising falsetto that will melt you to the floor and a deep vulnerability in his tone that makes every note feel like a confession. John Thomas isn’t to be slept on, put in your headphones and thank me later.
