John Zealey is an Aylesbury UK based singer-songwriter.
He primarily writes and records his own music. Although heavily influenced by the music of David Bowie, Peter Gabriel, John Grant and Elbow he would say he is not that interested in sticking to genres, although he is adamant that his music is nothing new, just inspired/influenced/stolen from everything he loves.
He has been involved in various music projects over the years. He was in Martin Grech's live band for a while. (Martin also features on some of John's work). He's won an award for a horror movie soundtrack, had his music featured in a Microsoft promo and also won a year’s supply of beer for an animation he submitted that was used on ITV between ad breaks!
He records frequently with his buddy Ian Moore, who he was in a band with, alongside Diz Minnett (Ex Marillion) and his son, James Zealey (China Bears / Whiteleaf).
