Johnny Kennedy is a Canadian Country Artist from New Tecumseth, Ontario. He plays what he likes to call “Cottage Country Music”, original country songs about growing up in the country and life at the cottage in the summer. Johnny’s Cottage Country Music “brings the Cottage to the Country, and the Country to the Cottage”. Johnny’s experiences as a boat mechanic and passion for watersports infuses his music with the authenticity of Cottage Country. Johnny is the opening act for the Summer Water Sports ski show in various locations around Muskoka throughout the summer where he plays in front of thousands of people. He loves to play his Cottage Country Music on the docks and for special events in Ontario’s Cottage Country. Johnny most recently graduated from Carleton University completing a Singer-Songwriter degree and is also a graduate of Seneca College’s Independent Music Production program (2018). His newest single “Tin Roof Talkin”, released on August 16, 2024, is the perfect song to add to your Cottage playlist.
