Johnny Kennedy is a singer-songwriter and country artist from New Tecumseth, Ontario. His signature style, Cottage Country Music, brings the cottage to the country, and the country to the cottage.

Growing up on a farm and spending summers up north at his family’s log cabin off the grid, Johnny developed a love for both country life and life up north. His experience as a boat mechanic and passion for watersports bring an authentic cottage country perspective to his music. During the summer, Johnny also performs as the opening act for the Summer Water Sports Water Ski Show at various locations throughout Muskoka, and enjoys bringing his Cottage Country Music to docks, cottages, and special events across Ontario’s cottage country. With his music rooted in the two worlds he knows best, his new song, “Small Town Charm,” leans into his country side, capturing the people, places, and everyday life that continue to shape his sound.
