Canadian DJ duo Jokers of the Scene began as a way for two Ottawa DJs, DJ Booth and Chameleonic, hosts of the party Disorganised (who brought on acts like <a href="spotify:artist:2squZ8HjM4AzR0j6jsPn4a">MSTRKRFT,</a> <a href="spotify:artist:2K13AVg3bFpHSxDM1vJ0qA">CSS,</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5fMUXHkw8R8eOP2RNVYEZX">Diplo</a>, among others), to display their own production and remix work. Signed to <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Fool%27s+Gold%22">Fool's Gold</a>, Jokers of the Scene released the 12" "Y'all Know the Name" in 2008, and then began a series of remixes for artists like DJ Blaqstarr, <a href="spotify:artist:4UajeSSje5zKoNAlnB5DK8">Rob Threezy</a>, Mike, <a href="spotify:artist:05FbFcmR0vCpX4nj36q6Re">Acid Girls,</a> <a href="spotify:artist:2x9iApQbBtvc4mbVN8DO1N">the Count & Sinden</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:0ZurilbRp6KwW6dpaw4pEK">Brodinski,</a> among others, as well as continuing work on their own mixtapes and 12"s, and touring with the <a href="spotify:artist:05FbFcmR0vCpX4nj36q6Re">Acid Girls</a> in the fall of 2009. ~ Marisa Brown, Rovi
