Multiple ARIA Award winner Kim Moyes is half of iconic Australian dance music duo, The Presets and much more.
Working on his own under the moniker K.I.M, he has produced and co-written with Shady Nasty, DMA’s, Odette, Jack Ladder, Keli Holiday, Digitalism, Kirin J. Callinan, Holy Holy, DZ Deathrays, Golden Features, Moody Beach, Slum Sociable, Northeast Party House & The Australian Chamber Orchestra amongst many others.
He has also created acclaimed remixes for a wide range of artists including Tove Lo, Kings Of Leon, Flash & The Pan, Cassius, Horror My Friend, Tiga, The Lazy Eyes, Ajax, Bag Raiders, Rinse and Midnight Juggernauts.
In September of 2023 Kim was invited by the Art Gallery Of NSW to compose a 60 minute original work to be performed in a decommissioned WWII oil tanker for the inaugural Volume music and arts festival. The work centered around Vibraphone and Electronics is entitled “Live In The Tank” and was released on Bandcamp 28/11/2023.
K.I.M has toured his renowned DJ sets locally and internationally for over two decades and released several solo EPs via Rallye-Klee Records (Japan), Modular Recordings, Motorik! Records, Unknown Records & Bang Gang 12 Inches. In 2018 he launched "Here To Hell”, a record label for emerging artists.
His work with The Presets includes co-writing and co-producing all of the band’s work and performing live behind his drum kit at some of the world’s biggest music festivals.
