First emerging in the Britpop scene around 1996, Jona first appeared fronting the band, The Strand Arcade. Influenced by the likes of Oasis, KOL, The Killers, The Stone Roses and everything in-between, TSA went onto success in the form of European tours and airplay on major radio and TV shows.
After being in TSA for over ten years, Jona decided to quit TSA. This being one of the heartbreaking decisions he has ever had to make. Travelling the country being paid in beer (if lucky) to play to (sometimes) 4 people in a W.C got too much.
The flame was smaller but the spark was still definitely there.
Fast forward a few (many) years later, and here we are in The Shire (Derbyshire), England. Jona never lost his love for writing, listening and playing songs. You can hear that desire, loss, pain, happiness, optimism... in every word that he writes and sings.
Jona is a songwriter who writes 'awe-inspiring-friendly-pop' to 'gutter-thumping-bleeding-breaking-heart-skull-crashing-tunes'.
His songs are everything that music should be: built on emotion and experiences to provide a soundtrack for your emotions and experiences.
