Jonny El

Jonny El, born John Langton (1976 in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire , England) is a Songwriter/Hardcore Dance Producer/DJ. With influences from Scott Brown, Darren Styles, Gammer, Breeze, Dougal, Hixxy, Brisk ,Stonebank ect.
Jonny has been on the dance scene for over 20 years, having started DJ-ing in Hardcore at just 17, playing at local events, Dizstruxshon/Uprising just to name a few. He started producing and writing UK Hardcore with Jason Anderson (Fastraxx) in 2002 and their label was born - Hyper Beatz Records.
Over the years they continued gigging together as the duo “Jonny El & Fastraxx “ writing/producing and releasing a host of Hardcore tracks which gained interest from some of the biggest names in the scene, they featured in various magazine reviews such as Mixmag, M8 etc. their first international booking was in Brooklyn – New York in 2009.
One of Jonny’s goals was to remix for Scott Brown, he did this and sent to Scott, the track was Commence and was later released on Scott's new label Evolved early in 2006, which also featured on Scott's Album, 10 years Of Hardcore X2.
Jonny is now a solo artist and still runs Hyper Beatz Records digitally, but is more focused on featuring on bigger labels.
That said, he is now signed to Contagious Records and aims to continue to push his sound on this label and possibly others in the future.
