Jonoa is a multi-instrumentalist,. based in Sheffield, forging live instrumentation with modular synthesis. Underpinned by an array of pedigree analogue synthesisers, dramatic improvised sax and live percussion he is creating his own unique sound inspired from a plethora of influences. First collaborating with Yarni, he co-wrote the track “Transitions”, which was playlisted on Jazz FM . Since then, he has featured on the critically acclaimed albums “Boro” and “Pigna” which have been described as: “Just amazing music” (Tim Garcia/Jazz FM) and “Dreamy and gently groovy. Particularly easy to love” (Electronic Sound Magazine). Similarly, Jonoa collaborated with Ruby Tingle, Co-writing her 2022 original concept performance and studio work of “Fountainia”, commissioned by Manchester Jazz Festival. He releases his solo EP “The Journey” on Keep it Dirty Records, produces and collaborates on No Such Thing and performs extensively with a variety of UK artists including: Dirty Freud/Yarni/Ruby Tingle
