Josho González

Josho es oriundo de La Rioja; toma la vertiente del folklore norteño con algunos tintes riojanos. Dentro del repertorio que aborda podemos encontrar canciones propias como nuevo compositor. Su música se caracteriza por ser una propuesta de fuerte raíz criolla, con matices que denotan un profundo sentido de pertenencia a su tierra natal; no obstante lo cual logra sumar elementos que dan originalidad y actualidad en el marco de su impronta de poeta y melodista del nuevo cancionero.

José "Josho" González is a native of the province of La Rioja (Argentina); he takes the aspect of northern folklore with some La Rioja tints. Inside of the repertoire that addresses we can find own songs like new composer. His music is characterized for being a proposal of strong creole roots, with nuances that denote a deep sense of belonging to their homeland. It keeps faithful to traditional folkloric models nevertheless, it manages to add elements that give originality and present in the framework of his imprint of poet and melodist of the new songbook.
