Born in Auckland, New Zealand, 27th of April 1997, rapper and vocalist Jowic (Joseph Champness) entered the game destined for its summit. A lyrical purist and songwriter from early youth, Jowic was all over worldwide press as he demonstrated his full dedication to his music and record label development despite his multitalented background. By the time his hit single “My Plan” had reached stores, his live performances were featuring on talk shows and news stations - it was clear Jowic’s inspiration was to represent his country on all fronts - on being as its most prominent artist.

With his domestic notoriety growing rapidly across Oceania he moved to Los Angeles, growing his self-founded NarrowRoad Records imprint with consistent single releases in the years to come. Outlets began documenting his musical story from his hometown in New Zealand to ESPN, Europe, worldstar, music blogs and seemingly everywhere in between. “My plan” alongside another punchy single in “Box office” caught on with the former reaching over 1.5M views on YouTube in the first 2 weeks of release - This earning him his first US Music TV appearance, featuring a month long placement on BET Jams as well as VH1 soul.

More recently Jowics’ tropical “Touchy Feely” smash appeared on Spotify’s exclusive Get Turnt and Most Necessary playlists seeing it push towards the 1.5M stream mark. Jowics latest release "Broken fairytale" is smashing his own high streaming records.
