Joyce is the bass player and original lead singer on 3 of Klymaxx’s 4 biggest records, including their biggest hit, <a href="spotify:track:3d6UefBBvhqHxJLZdm8scF" data-name="I Miss You">I Miss You</a>. Joyce&#39;s solo album on Motown, <a href="spotify:album:5Vudu1KKqjgWqWMhfxMfqG" data-name="Maximum Thrust">Maximum Thrust</a>, charted 3 singles, including the Billboard #1 selling hip hop single, <a href="spotify:track:4ZVxQT72n4HCBBnHuogxL1" data-name="Mr. D.J.">Mr. D.J.</a> featuring <a href="spotify:artist:7xN8vFwslE67EC3DhgB9Ip" data-name="Doug E. Before Klymaxx, Joyce rapping &amp; playing bass as &quot;Fenderella&quot; had a nationally charted single &quot;A Wild &amp; Crazy Song&quot; on Miami based T.K. Records.
Around 2015 Joyce began writing and recording new music for herself. She recently recorded with long time friend <a href="spotify:artist:3S78Gzhp1D01i1x2KGXrnh" data-name="Howard Hewett">Howard Hewett</a>. As a talent developer in Atlanta since 1990, Joyce signed, and launched the careers of platinum producers <a href="spotify:artist:2ZnP7Vw0Rkz8KksxReWfji" data-name="Dallas Austin">Dallas Austin</a>, Jasper Cameron, and others, and recording artists <a href="spotify:artist:1Xfmvd48oOhEWkscWyEbh9" data-name="Lloyd">Lloyd</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4p07QU02SrLsaORo25h2Lg" data-name="Sammie">Sammie</a> . Joyce was mentored as a teenager by <a href="spotify:artist:2GVBp7QyHckoOg7rYkLvrA" data-name="George Clinton">George Clinton</a> and they remain close today.
