A native of the Bronx, NY, <a href="spotify:artist:3UcNtBbIjYJDvKoicOf2go" data-name="J.R. Boss">J.R. Boss</a> relocated to Montgomery, AL in his early teens, experiencing life in the streets that most fail to resolve out of coming out alive. After seeing <a href="spotify:artist:7dFJWWaHc5Z8oQbIRgBcwQ" data-name="Doe B">Doe B</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2iHMRqfyow5ug68bezaxCc" data-name="Eldorado Red">Eldorado Red</a> having success with their rap careers, Jr. decided to take on his career seriously, coming out with his first full length album <a href="spotify:album:7pCGVok1O14OlENrPWgq2t" data-name="Public Enemy No. 1">Public Enemy No. 1</a> with <a href="spotify:artist:10M6q2DRQkKjMLQmj5ws6t" data-name="Karltin Bankz">Karltin Bankz</a>. His single <a href="spotify:track:5HVULcWtei6TWH7qq5Vn0O" data-name="Pigeons">Pigeons</a> gave him local acclaim and fame, with shows and stardom on the horizon, only to be side tracked by being shot 9 times and a subsequent 2-year federal prison sentence thereafter related to his near-death experience. Fully recovered and vowing to improve his lyrical skills since starting in 2014, Jr. spent the majority of his time in prison getting sober, in shape, and studying Hip Hop music to get a better grasp at crafting songs.
