Born in Barranquilla, Colombia in 1985. In 2004, Arboleda entered the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and earned a master’s degree in Music Composition in 2009. After graduation, Arboleda studied cinematic orchestration under German film composer Robin Hoffman. Since then, he has worked on several films, TV shows, and animated shorts.
He collaborated with celebrated singers Santiago Cruz, Andres Cepeda, and Juan Fernando Velazco on Sinfónico 360 (360º Symphonic), a series of four concerts in Colombia’s largest cities, attended by sell-out crowds at each stadium. With Reyes Copello, Arboleda also arranged orchestrations for the first symphonic CD, entitled Canciones para la luna (Songs for the moon), of Belanova, a Mexican Electro-pop band, which was released with a DVD of the live performance.
Now, with 2 Grammy nominations and a Billboard nomination, Arboleda is working with world-renowned artists and bands such as Il Divo, Santiago Cruz, Andres Cepeda, and Fonseca.
