Juan is a singer, songwriter, producer and actor. Born and raised in Detroit, MI, he comes from a long line of singers and songwriters and is no stranger to the world of music and entertainment. With over 40 GRAMMY® Awards between them, the Winans Family have been involved in shaping the global music landscape for over 40 years.
As a member of the group Winans Phase 2, Juan signed a recording contract with Word Records/Sony Music at the age of 17. The group went on to release the GRAMMY® nominated, Billboard #1 Gospel Album “We Got Next”. Since then Juan has performed around the world and written for several award winning, gold and platinum selling artists, television shows and films. Juan recently won the NAACP Theater Award for Best Male Lead for his starring role in the new American Musical “Born For This”. Juan’s debut album, “Legacy” is scheduled to be released March 3, 2023 and is sure to be a success having already spawned two Billboard #1 songs; “It Belongs To Me” and “Never On My Own.”
