Originally formed as a mainstream pop band, today Stars Go Dim is the moniker for Christian
pop artist and songwriter Chris Cleveland. At the helm of the acclaimed independent secular
band, Cleveland previously shared the stage with high-profile acts, including Elton John, Billy
Joel, John Mayer, Justin Bieber, Goo Goo Dolls, Jason DeRulo, Natasha Bedingfield, The Fray
and The Roots, among others. Over the course of the last decade, he’s made a name for
himself in Christian music, not only as a gifted vocalist with a soaring falsetto range and an
innovative entertainer with a distinct creative vision, but also as an in-demand songwriter,
who’s penned selections recorded by Bethel Music, Maverick City Music, and more.
Additionally, Stars Go Dim has amassed numerous No. 1s and Top 5 hits at both pop and
Christian radio with “You Are Loved” being the chart-topping song that launched Cleveland’s
career in Christian music, which now spans three studio projects, notable Dove and K-LOVE
Fan Award nominations and tours with Lauren Daigle, for KING + COUNTRY and Phil Wickham.
The Tulsa native, who currently resides in Nashville, continues to write for other artists, even as
he released Stars Go Dim’s latest studio set, Roses, which arrived July 11, 2025, and features
funky lead single “Mama Don’t Lie (Alright).”
