Judith and the 5th Aid is a dynamic concept where all kinds of musicians can come together to create.
Centrally in this group there is Judith Heldens who started this initiative as she soon experienced that making music is so much more productive and fun when it's shared by several than on your own. The name of the group explicitly refers to the “aid” we all can use from time to time, and she received in this project from a lot of folks in her surroundings. Combined with the fact that Judith is studying medicine to offer help beyond “the first aid” and the knowledge that her favorite number on the soccer field is the number 5, which she wears herself on the pitch, it's obvious where the rest of the name came from.
Amongst the first brave souls that came rushing in for “aid” you will find Demi. Since an early age, Demi has had a passion for singing. She was immediately very excited to join the project and brings with her warm and unique voice timbre a mind-altering dimension to the songs. Psychology and organizing events where psychology students go crazy are, by the way, strong markers on Demi’s activity radar.
Another knight is shining amour, wielding the guitar instead of the sword, who came to help out is Joran. Unsurprisingly, for a soon to be electrical engineer, Joran’s weapon of choice is the electrical guitar. Joran’s understating guitar play can’t be overestimated in creating a vibe, yes, he has got it!
