Nashville-based, Pennsylvania-grown country Americana artist Judy Paster breathes life back into the timeless roots music genre. She has become known for her strong spirit and distinctive style that evoke 70s singer/songwriters with a contemporary edge. With her Trio debut, she unites with two Grammy-winning musicians from The Time Jumpers Band, combining acoustic guitar, upright bass, and fiddle to create a lush musical backdrop for her stunning songs, & bringing tranquility amidst life's chaos. Paster originally gained notoriety in Billboard with her rootsy self-titled debut EP, Judy Paster, when she was referred to as an artist “truly on the rise." Shortly after, Paster moved to Nashville and found herself getting local airplay and carving out her own niche in the Nashville singer/songwriter community. Since making the move to Music City, Paster has garnered numerous music awards including the 2021 Josie Music Award for Folk/Americana Artist of the Year, and a Canadian Covenant Award (the Canadian equivalent of America’s Dove) for co-writing the Jazz Blues Song of the Year. Paster has written and shared the stage with some of Nashville’s top hit songwriters and has also written for film and TV. Her song, “Christmas Crush” (co-written with Bill DiLuigi and Corey Lee Barker) is featured in a Lifetime TV movie called ‘The Holiday Exchange’ airing now. Recently, Paster signed with Synapse Entertainment to be part of a 2025 national tour called ‘Women Behind The Lyrics’.
