Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, Julian Bones grew up with a love of expressing himself through art. Whether writing poems and songs, singing, drawing, or acting in school plays and talent shows, he was keen on creativity and knew that a career in the entertainment world was his calling.
After moving to New York City, that passion was realized when he enrolled in acting classes and began booking roles soon after. From musical theater to stage plays, short films, and more, he quickly began navigating the business, further fueling his passion.
In March of 2021, he released his debut EP “321” on all streaming platforms. Showcasing his creative flair, writing ability, and versatile musical approach, this project is especially important to Julian as it stemmed from a place of self-realization and learning to trust his instincts and believe in his talents more than ever before. Written and recorded during the 2020 quarantine, it was extremely therapeutic and eye-opening for Julian as a person and artist.
Currently working on new music, Julian continues to hone his craft and considers himself a constant student of life, learning, exploring his layers, and creating as much as he can. Moving with tenacity and enjoying the process, Julian is a multifaceted talent who is just getting started in exploring the boundless potential he hopes to share with the world.
