Juliano Rossi is actually called Oliver Perau and is best known as the frontman of the Hanover rock band `Terry Hoax`, for his roaring vocals. When the band had temporarily separated, Perau remembered his love for the classics, the pearls of jazz, swing and entertainment he knew from his parents' rich record collection - and created the alter ego Juliano Rossi. Under this moniker, he has been one of the great, last true crooners of the country for over 20 years: When you hear Rossi, you can hear the warmth and the melting of Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin. With this God-given voice Perau was even signed for the foundation of Blue Note Germany - only two other German musicians had managed that with him. But he also uses this gift unselfishly every week when he sings German hits like `Capri-Fischer`or `Kann denn Liebe Sünde sein` for elderly people suffering from dementia in an old people's home, with his project `Klang und Leben` - that's Oliver Perau too!
