Julius Eastwood is an award winning alt-pop artist from Mid-Wales. His music has already racked up over 70,000 streams and has been played on radio stations across the country. This summer Julius performed at his first UK festival, he was nominated at Focus Wales, and won Best Music Video at the Shropshire Music Awards. Most recently BBC Introducing made Julius their Artist Of The Week. Inspired by the likes of Declan McKenna, The XX and Marina - Julius' work is driven by unique melodies, engaging narratives and a desire to connect.
Julius is an artist with a refreshing perspective; he comes from a working-class family and is very conscious of music’s relationship to identity, politics and class. These themes are present throughout his latest single, Mirror (I Saw Me). The track was described by Amazing Radio’s Shell Zenner as ‘Lush and rich’ and BBC Radio presenter Michaela Wylde as ‘Sensational’. Julius' hotly anticipated debut EP will be out soon.
