Jun Kung

Starting out as a drummer recording at just 14 years old, Jun Kung is also a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and an award-winning songwriter.

As a solo artist, Jun released his first album in 1999; he has produced and released 7 critically-acclaimed solo albums, all as Singer/Songwriter/Producer - with his first album credited as such at the age of 19. Throughout the years, his vast musical range and unique arrangement sound has entranced sold-out audiences frequently. As a songwriter, he focuses on musicianship and an organic, indie approach to record production.

In 2012, Jun’s solo album “Playback Is A Bitch”, won the 13th Chinese Media Awards for “Best Rock Artist”.  Jun has also written music for film, and has won “Best Original Film Song” in 2011 and 2012 for two consecutive years at the Hong Kong Film Awards.
