Childhood friends, Max Fletcher (Vocals, Ukelele, Drums, Piano) and Declan Gunther (Saxophone, Bass guitar, Rhythm guitar) grew up playing music together in bands and orchestras.
Junction Road was formed in late 2024, combining Fletcher’s profound vocal depth and melodic writing with Gunther’s versatile songwriting and understanding of musical patterns.
The main focus of Junction Road currently is alternative rock/pop, using a more acoustic sound to subvert many of their larger influences in this area.
