June was a pop-punk band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 2002. Known for their catchy melodies and energetic performances, they quickly gained a following within the emo and pop-punk scenes of the mid-2000s. Signed to Victory Records, June released two albums: If You Speak Any Faster (2005) and Make It Blur (2007). Their debut album established them as a band to watch, with tracks like "Patrick" and "My Side of the Story" resonating with fans.

Make It Blur saw the band experimenting with a more polished and grandiose sound, drawing comparisons to both emo contemporaries like Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco, as well as mainstream alternative rock bands such as Foo Fighters, Maroon 5, and Third Eye Blind. Their blend of pop-rock and alternative influences made their music accessible beyond the emo scene, appealing to a broader audience. Although June disbanded in 2008, their music continues to hold a special place in the hearts of fans who remember the era fondly.
