Jungle Animals

Jungle Animals is an indie pop group based in Brooklyn, New York. Helmed by Ian Holubiak (vocals, keyboards), Rob Guariglia (vocals, guitar, production) and Jen Newman (vocals, keyboard), the band released their debut single ‘Access’ in 2019 with a planned music video release early 2020.
The group’s subsequent single, ‘Something I Can Understand’ is slated to debut January 31, 2020.
With formative influences that include LCD Soundsystem and The Postal Service, Jungle Animals meld warm, melodic sounds with calculated, electro-synth injections that explore the dichotomy between human relationships and technology, both in their music and lyrics.
Formed In 2019, Jungle Animals was founded by Ian Holubiak, formerly of The Worst Humans, and Rob Guariglia, more recently known as front man of his indie pop project Modern Whale. The two met in 2013 while playing together in the folk pop group Oh Honey, signed to Atlantic Records. Rob introduced Jen to Ian during joint songwriting sessions in 2014. The group has plans to continue releasing music into 2020.
