With an underlying passion for music ever since 7, Jurine Chia did not exactly follow the conventional musical route. She was not musically trained nor did she take up any classes despite this passion. She went the regular corporate route, working in a tech company but ultimately, her passion and love for music won over. With her powerful and euphonious voice, she has taken part in a myriad of competitions, allowing her to hone her technique and stage experience. You could say that Jurine is a jack-of-all trades because of her ability to deliver songs of any genre. As if that isn’t enough, Jurine is multilingual and can sing in many languages from Hokkien, Cantonese and even Thai.
