Steven Lee and Carl Kennedy, the duo who make up Just Us, announced themselves to the electronic music scene as a duo with their revamp of Kate Bush’s ‘Cloudbusting’ which was officially announced to the world when Pete Tong premiered the record at the Radio 1 live event at Ushuaia in Ibiza in August 2016. From there the record exploded earning ‘Hottest Record In The World’ honors from Annie Mac, a Danny Howard ‘Future Anthem’ award, Radio 1 Dance Chart #1, DMC Buzz Chart #1 and a top 5 placing in Shazam’s UK Future Hits Chart – all as an unsigned ‘white label’. Since this outstanding debut Just Us quickly followed with neo-house outing ‘Flirtatious’, the Danny Byrd and Macy Gray collaboration ‘Superhero’ and the Love & Other release 'Closure' with Wolves By Night. In 2018 Just Us dropped the James Brown sampling ‘I Feel Good Love’ on Polydor Records and then in 2019 another Wolves By Night guesting release ‘Eagles’ and the disco infused ‘Questions’ via Armada. Just Us’s latest release is their tropical update of Ziggy Marley’s ‘Beach In Hawaii’ out now on Island Records.
